About Steven Wilder
Steven Wilder has focused his practice on representing accident victims throughout Southwestern Ontario, helping them get the medical care and compensation they deserve. He is an active and proud member of the Law Society of Ontario, Canadian Bar Association, Ontario Bar Association, The Advocates Society, and the Essex Law Association.
He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2010, after obtaining his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Windsor in 2009. Steven also previously completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Windsor, where he focused on political science, history, and philosophy. Steven joined Diamond & Diamond in 2015, as part of the opening of their new Windsor office. In 2023, he became a partner with the firm.
Steven currently serves on the Executive Board for the Essex Law Association, as a Director at Large. Steven has volunteered for and assisted many local charities and causes, including WE Care for Kids, Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation, Lola’s Roundtable, Knights of Columbus, The Downtown Mission, Salvation Army, Canadian Blood Services, and Big Brothers Big Sisters Windsor-Essex.
In October 2014, Steven was elected as Ward 1 Councillor in the Town of Lakeshore, for the term of 2014-2018. In October 2018, Steven was re-elected and served 2018-2022 term. In 2022, Steven did not run for re-election and he took a ‘recess’ from elected office, primarily to spend more time with his daughter and family. Steven currently co-hosts a local TV show, covering political news and topics in Windsor-Essex County.
