Paul Mariani is a Licensed Paralegal at Diamond & Diamond. He joined the firm in 2018 and has worked in Accident Benefits and Civil Litigation for over twelve years. Paul became a Licensed Paralegal under the Law Society of Upper Canada in 2008 and holds a B.A.(Hons) from Queen’s University. Prior to joining Diamond and Diamond, Paul started his career managing a large family practice exclusively dedicated to plaintiff-side Accident Benefits and spent the past four years at a mid-size law firm in Toronto working within their Accident Benefits department. Paul has extensive experience in plaintiff-side personal injury and has represented thousands of clients over the past decade at FSCO mediations and pre-arbitration hearings, as well as now overseeing all disputes through the Ontario Licensing and Appeals Tribunal.
Paul is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada. He volunteers with motionball – a national foundation that raises funds and awareness for Special Olympics Canada. Paul previously served as Director for the Toronto Marathon of Sport. When Paul is not in the office, he enjoys playing hockey and golf, but these have taken a backseat to his new hobby, chasing around his two young children.
