Ashman is a lawyer at Diamond and Diamond Lawyers. She started with the firm in 2018 as a Summer Student, then Articled with the firm and is now a lawyer at the firm. In 2016, she obtained Bachelor of Commerce with Specialized Honours in Accounting from York University. Thereafter, she attended law school at the University of Western Ontario, where she earned her Juris Doctor degree with concentration in Business Law. During law school, Ashman was the Chair of Western Law Diversity Committee and Western Law South Asian Law Students’ Association. She was also a part of the Western Law Gender and the Law Association, where she held the positions of VP Finance and Chair of Domestic Violence. Also, Ashman was the Supervisor of the Immigration Law Team at Western Law Community Legal Services Clinic.
As a former member of the Canadian Armed Forces, she worked with youth in the Royal Canadian Air Cadets program. Additionally, she was a Constituency Assistant in the Office of Hon. Bal Gosal, former federal Minister of Sports.
Ashman’s practice focuses on all areas of plaintiff personal injury litigation, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls and other disability-related matters.
