I completed my Bachelor of Health Sciences, Honors, at UOIT in 2018; I specialized in public health. In 2018, I attended Michigan State University College of Law, where I graduated in the top 25% of my class and achieved cum laude honors. I earned the Jurisprudence Awards for Commercial Arbitration and Criminal Trial Advocacy, in addition to receiving my Civil Facilitative Mediator certification. During my time at MSU, I clerked for the Honourable Patrick M. Meter at the Michigan Court of Appeals, and for the Honourable Joseph Farah at the Genesee County Circuit Court. I completed an externship at the Ingham County Prosecutor's Office, worked as a summer associate at Garan Lucow Miller P.C., and was a student clinician at the MSU COL Housing Law Clinic. At the Prosecutor's Office, I authored an appellate brief that successfully barred the defendant's appeal, which claimed that his sentence was unconstitutional. As a student clinician, I provided legal advice to tenants regarding landlord tenant disputes, and represented tenants via the Eviction Diversion Program at the 55th District Court in Michigan. I am a member of the Ontario, Virginia, and District of Columbia bars. I joined Diamond & Diamond in February 2022 as a law student while awaiting my NCA results and began my articles in April 2022. I was called to the Ontario bar in January 2023. Outside work, I enjoy hitting the gym, practicing yoga, and watching the Real Housewives franchises and true crime documentaries.
